General Information:
The Nubian Milk Goat originated in England by crossing British
goats with goats of African and Indian origin. This breed is named
after Nubia, located in northeastern Africa. The Nubian is
considered an multi-purpose goat known for milk meat and hide
production. The common colors for the Nubian include black, red, and
tan which can also include variations of white. The distinguishing
characteristic is the head. The ears are described as long and wide
combined with a convex facial profile between the eyes and muzzle.
